The limited collection is currently available for pre-order.
Celebrities often delve into various ventures, from endorsements to launching their own brands. And the latest to make a splash in the fashion world is Nicki Minaj. Teaming up with footwear brand LØCI, the rapper has introduced her own line of sneakers and also become an owner of the brand.
Nicki's limited-edition collection includes five styles available in eleven different colours. These hues stay true to the singer's bold persona, featuring her face on the tongue of all the shoes in her collection. From shades of pink to pops of white, black, blue, purple, mustard, and red, the colour palette of the sneakers captures the essence of Nicki's style.
Speaking of joining hands with LØCI, Nicki shared: "Sneakers have undeniably played a transformative role in shaping my unique style, allowing me to boldly express myself. I'll never put out a single pair that I don't wear."
Nicki is currently in the midst of a world tour to promote her latest album "Pink Friday 2." Consisting of 59 shows across two continents, the sold-out shows have seen the rapper perform new tracks such as "Last Time I Saw You," "Red Ruby da Sleeze," and "Super Freaky Girl" in addition to hits from her varied discography.
And if that's not enough, LØCI's roster of other celebrity fans, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, and Olivia Wilde, speaks volumes about the brand's universal appeal and commitment to quality.
LØCI, founded by brothers Emmanuel and Frank Eribo in 2021, has garnered attention for its innovative use of materials in the footwear industry. Handcrafted in Portugal, each pair of LØCI sneakers uses sustainable bio-leather — a material that blends non-food grade corn and recycled textiles. Plus, LØCI's commitment to environmental conservation adds another layer of purpose to the collection, with 10 per cent of profits donated to wildlife protection charities.
Nicki's LØCI sneakers are currently open for pre-orders. However, you might have to wait a few months to get your hands on them as delivery starts in July. In-store, they'll be available at Harrods and Level Shoes.
