The Egyptian comedian will be making an appearance at Eventim Apollo in April.
Mark your calendars because Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef is set to make you laugh out loud when he brings The Middle Beast Tour to London's Eventim Apollo on Saturday, 6 April.
Prepare for some side-splitting comedy as Bassem Youssef brings his witty sense of humour to the stage. You'll struggle to catch your breath because this talented comedian will be going non-stop with his anecdotes and banter.
At The Middle Beast Tour in London, spectators will embark on a personal odyssey, tracing Bassem's trajectory from being a heart surgeon in Egypt to navigating the tumultuous events of the Arab Spring. Along this transformative journey, he transitions from a medical professional to the host of the most significant political satire program in the Arab World. His humour not only garnered global acclaim, dubbing him "The Egyptian Jon Stewart," but also led to his arrest, questioning, and eventual escape to America during a pivotal period of the nation's identity upheaval.
Bassem's international recognition includes being named one of the "100 most influential people in the world" by Time magazine in 2013. His October 2023 interview with Piers Morgan has also been going viral on social media, clocking up millions of views.
Bassem joins a long list of comedians coming to the capital in 2024. Omid Djalili will perform at Cadogan Hall on 1 March, Michael McIntyre will come to The O2 in April, and Jo Koy will bring his unique brand of humour to The O2 on 3 May.
