K-pop band Seventeen and country legend Shania Twain join the line-up.

Gig goers, it’s almost that time of year. The summer marks the start of music festivals, and Glastonbury Festival 2024 has announced its line-up. The headliners include Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SZA. Taking place from 26 to 30 June, the event brings together the biggest artists from around the world.

Glastonbury Festival 2024 has received praise, as women are leading the line-up for the first time. In previous editions, the headliners have been male and rock n roll heavy, whereas this year marks a shift in gender and genre.

British singer Dua Lipa was born in London and raised in Kosovo in a Muslim family. She is famous for her disco-infused pop songs, and she has won three Grammy Awards. In 2017, she released her debut song New Rules, and her hit songs include Don’t Start Now, Levitating and One Kiss.

American star SZA, real name Solána Imani Rowe, was born and raised in New Jersey. She has openly spoken about how she was raised as a Muslim and follows the religion. Her hit songs include Good Days, I Hate U, Nobody Gets Me and Snooze.

Coldplay are Glastonbury Festival veterans, and have already played the festival four times. The British group consist of lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. The band’s songs include Fix You, Hymn for the Weekend and Paradise.

Glastonbury Festival 2024 acts also include South Korean boy band Seventeen, who will make history as the first K-pop act to perform on the Pyramid stage. Plus, Canadian singer Shania Twain will perform in the legends slot.

Glastonbury Festival 2024 tickets have already sold out.
