We’ve got some news that will put a smile on your face. The British comedian Michael McIntyre has announced that he is coming to London. On 5, 6, 12, 13 and 14 April 2024, he will be performing at The O2 Arena. He is bringing his Macnificent tour to the capital, and here’s what to expect.

Michael hails from London, and is best known for his British wit, conservative style and floppy hair. He started out as a presenter on the Royal Variety Show and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. He has appeared on comedy panels including 8 out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You and Mock the Week.

In 2009, he performed for approximately 500,000 people in a record-breaking six nights at Wembley Arena and four at The O2 Arena. In 2012, he became one of the world’s biggest-selling comedians. In 2013, he played one of the biggest comedy gigs in Africa at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.

The Macnificent tour is visiting countries around the world and includes dates in Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. Judging by clips from the tour, it includes jokes on everything from Brexit to the cost-of-living crisis.

Michael joins a long list of comedians who will be coming to the capital in 2024. Omid Djalili is coming to Cadogan Hall on 1 March, while Jo Koy will perform at The O2 in May.
