The Gallagher brothers are back in action after 14 years.

All you 90s kids, if you're looking for a dose of Britpop nostalgia, this news will blow your mind. British rock band Oasis, which parted ways in the early 2000s, is reuniting and promising a tour ahead.

Noel and Liam Gallagher, the famously feuding siblings who led the biggest British pop band of the 90s, have announced that Oasis will reunite for a massive tour in 2025. The news was confirmed ahead of the 30th anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe — making this announcement all the more worthwhile.

Oasis will play a string of major shows in 2025 kicking off at Cardiff Principality Stadium on 4 and 5 July. The tour will then head to Manchester's Heaton Park where multiple shows will be performed on 11, 12, 19 and 20 July. London's Wembley Stadium will see the band live on 25 and 26 July, and 2 and 3 August. The tour will conclude at Dublin's Croke Park with shows on 16 and 17 August. There's also talk of a Glastonbury headline slot, which would see the band return to the festival where they performed in 2004.

The news of the reunion started with a clip posted on the official Oasis page with today's date in the band's iconic logo font. Additionally, the brothers have teamed up with Levi's for a limited-edition collection of T-shirts celebrating the band's debut album, Definitely Maybe. These T-shirts are now a must-have for fans attending the upcoming shows.

For those unversed with Oasis, it's a British pop band formed in Manchester in 1991. The band quickly rose to fame and their debut album Definitely Maybe became an instant hit. Some of their hits include (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger, Don't Go Away and Champagne Supernova.

Reports claim that the band split after the Gallagher brothers had a backstage fight at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009. Noel pursued a career with his band, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, while Liam embarked on his own musical journey.

Now, after 14 years, the brothers are putting their differences aside for what's shaping up to be one of the biggest reunions in music history. Tickets for the shows will go live on 31 August, so get ready to sing your heart out at the Oasis shows and bask in the nostalgia of one of the greatest bands ever.

Tickets to see Oasis in concert will go on sale this Saturday, 31 August 2024.
