The expansion continues Berenjak's beautiful legacy.
London’s restaurant scene never fails to impress. With an array of diverse culinary offerings, especially in Mayfair, the capital is a hotspot for indulgence. And now, the prestigious neighbourhood is set to welcome Berenjak.
Located on Duke Street, next to The Barley Mow, Berenjak Mayfair represents a fresh chapter for the trendy Persian restaurant. The concept is part of a new development, and photos of it were shared on Berenjak London’s official Instagram account.
The Berenjak Mayfair space is still under construction, but once it opens, it promises to continue the Berenjak legacy. Banquette seating and a terrace are likely on the blueprint for this outpost.
Named after the brightly coloured toasted rice snacks enjoyed at Persian funfairs, Berenjak channels childhood nostalgia and Iranian culinary tradition into its menu. The dining institution focuses on Persian dishes, yet each Berenjak location offers something unique. The Mayfair restaurant is expected to continue this tradition. Still, you can expect to indulge in Balal, Sibzamini, Jujeh Kabab Tond, Shirazi salad, and a variety of char-grilled meats at the upcoming location.
Since its debut in Soho in 2018, Berenjak has been synonymous with flavorful Persian dishes, earning a Michelin Bib Gourmand just a year after opening. Its second London location followed in Borough Market in 2022, securing its own Bib Gourmand in 2024. The brand has also spread beyond the UK, with a FACT award-winning outpost in Dubai, alongside restaurants in Sharjah and Doha. And now, it’s turning its attention back to London with its third location in the capital.
While the exact opening date of Berenjak Mayfair remains under wraps, the social media post has hinted at a spring or summer launch for this year.
Stay tuned at FACT for all the details when the restaurant opens its doors.
