Opening in December, it celebrates Middle Eastern flavours.

London is home to restaurants from around the world. Now, it is set to welcome Dubai’s Somewhere, which is making its debut in the United Kingdom. The concept, which celebrates Middle Eastern flavours, will open on 17 December in Harrods, Knightsbridge. So, if you’d like authentic Arabic food, here’s what you need to know.

Somewhere can already be found across the Middle East. The restaurant can be found in Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi; Bujairi Terrace, Riyadh; and Dubai Mall, Dubai. Plus, it opened in AlUla, Oasis Farm, in the heart of the dramatic desert landscape.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum gave the brand the royal seal of approval. He was spotted dining at the Dubai Mall branch and shared a photo of himself in front of the brand’s tagline: “Let me take you somewhere”.

Somewhere Harrods

Somewhere aims to create a serene, scenic escape. The décor will feature warm and inviting interiors. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, and the menu will offer a classic mezze experience that is superb for sharing.

Dishes include bao buns filled with Grilled Wagyu Skewers, Crispy Onions, Cranberry Sriracha and Kale Tabbouleh with fresh tomato, pomegranate and Lebanese Markouk Bread. Plus, Japanese-inspired shrimp rolled in crunchy kunafa, guacamole hummus, and black truffle and Parmesan fries with coriander.

Dessert options include Chocolate Basbousa pudding topped with coffee ice cream, shards of crisp chocolate filo and a roasted hazelnut and tahini peanut butter sauce, and the Cerelac Um Ali, an oven-baked pudding infused with nostalgic Cerelac milk.
