The exclusive bar opens to the public from 1 August.
Get ready for summer with The Berkeley Rooftop Bar. Nestled perfectly between Knightsbridge and Belgravia, the once guest-only rooftop bar is opening to everyone for the summer. From 1 August, anyone will be able to visit the bar and admire the view.
Picture this: sipping refreshing drinks and savouring delectable Mediterranean small plates while soaking up the breathtaking sunset over the magnificent Hyde Park. Admire the sun-bathed mural by the talented artist Chiara Perano. Inspired by the blues of the pool and greens of the park, the mural sets the perfect tone for your rooftop adventure.
Once you step outside, prepare to be mesmerised by the panoramic views. The red brick of Knightsbridge, the crescents of Belgravia, and the expanse of Hyde Park will leave you in awe. You can book a table in advance or simply nab a striped lounger on a first-come, first-served basis. All that matters is that you have a drink in hand to toast to the London summer – that's if it isn't raining, obviously.
Speaking of drinks, get ready for a tantalising selection. Rosé will be served, evoking South of France vibes. The hero sangria, mixed with Cote de Provence rose and Fever-Tree raspberry lemonade, fresh grapefruit juice and seasonal fruit, promises to be a delight.
If cocktails are your thing, you're in for a treat. Try the Pool Party – a delightful blend of Campari, Chambord, rhubarb, strawberry bitters and Fever-Tree soda water. Plus, there's the Hyde Park Spritz – a mix of Ricard Pastis, Cointreau, Benedictine, lemon and sparkling water. Of course, classic choices will also be on offer.
But what's a fantastic drink without some scrumptious bites, right? The Mediterranean small plates at the rooftop bar are ideal for sharing. The dishes include Seared Beef with truffle artichoke pesto and rocket, Marinated Squid with courgette spaghetti, daikon, sesame, and ginger dressing; and a Watermelon, Cherry Tomato and Feta Salad topped with mint dressing, and a classic Panzanella.
Summer is here.
