The British restaurant also serves afternoon tea.

Harrods is home to a range of restaurants, from celebrity chefs to international concepts. Now, it looks set to welcome the newly designed, The Georgian. Drawing inspiration from the Roaring Twenties, it serves brilliant British cuisine.

In 1911, The Georgian originally opened and it has now been reimagined. The venue prides itself on its elegance and entertainment, which includes a theatrical tableside service. The afternoon tea menu spans an amuse-bouche, savouries, sandwiches, scones and jam, and patisseries. Plus, the service brings together tea sommeliers, who can create custom blends.

The sandwiches include a classic selection, from Cucumber Sandwiches to Faroe Island Salmon Sandwiches. The patisseries include a Black Forest Gateau, Blackberry Tart, and Pistachio Religieuse. The scones range from fruit to plain scones, and the jams include blackberry and blackcurrant, pear and vanilla, and strawberry and raspberry. The patisserie team will be led by the Executive Pastry Chef, Markus Bohr.

The dinner menu spans starters, snacks, mains, pies, sides and desserts. Starters range from the Coal Roasted Leek Vinaigrette to Devonshire Crab Tart. Mains range from Dry-Aged British Grilled Ribeye to Roast Cod Fillet with Spiced Brown Shrimp Butter.

The restaurant prides itself on its pies, which have been created by the chef, Calum Franklin. The signature pie is The Georgian Pie Experience. Big enough for two, the lamb is slow-cooked and served with crispy anchovy and ratatouille. Pies also include the Beef Wellington, Chicken and Penny Bun Pie, and Leek and Potato Pie.

Harrods’s food hall recently had a revamp, and welcomed international brands. Dubai’s very own supper club turned restaurant, Kinoya, opened its first international branch in the store. Kinoya Ramen specialises in ramen. One of the special dishes include the Tonkotsu Ramen with a 12-hour broth, and it is only available in-store. Plus, the hall is home to the restaurants Assembly Mezze & Skewers, Sushi by Masa and Tom Kerridge’s Fish & Chips.
