Maybourne Hotel Group is behind some of London’s most legendary hotels: Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley. Now, it has created The Emory, which is home to 60 suites over nine floors.

The entrance is located discreetly on Old Barrack Yard, and it is hidden within Knightsbridge. Each floor showcases a different interior designer, and the names include André Fu, Pierre Yves Rochon, Alexandra Champalimaud, Rémi Tessier and Patricia Urquiola. Plus, the penthouse has been designed by Rigby & Rigby.

The Emory

The Emory was created by the renowned British architect, Richard Rogers, and Ivan Harbour of architectural firm RSHP. The building boasts a sail-like structure, which soars over the treetops of Hyde Park. The suites offer 360-degree views of the capital, and the rooftop is open to hotel guests only. Guests also have access to Surrenne, a private members’ club-meets-spa, which spans four floors. Treatments cover beauty, health, fitness, and the site includes a 22-metre-long pool.

Maybourne Hotel Group’s Gianluca Muzzi explained: “This is our first new London property in 50 years, and we believe it will be a truly groundbreaking new addition to our distinguished hotel family. We plan to bring the inspiration and creative energy that have made our other hotels so notable, whilst also making The Emory a world class hub of art and culture. This opening further cements our vision and commitment to growing Maybourne Hotel Group, and heralds a bold new future for the company”.
