The concept includes cool characters and quirky designs.
London is filled with brilliant bars, from world-class mixologists to homegrown concepts. Now, Cahoots is expanding its fun-filled themed bars, and opening in Borough Yards, Borough Market. Drawing inspiration from 1940s post offices, it’s an interactive, immersive experience. The venue opens its doors on 11 October, so bring along your curious side, as it looks set to offer a cool night out.
Cahoots is the brainchild of Inception Group. The bar first started in 2015, and opened a venue in Kingly Court, Carnaby Street. The original concept was inspired by the London Underground and included old-school posters and seats that resembled carriages. Later, it expanded with Cahoots in Soho, which is a cross between a ticket hall and a pub.
Cahoots Network will feel like a secret speakeasy. The entrance is hidden on the edge of Borough Market. On arrival, guests will be greeted by actors that set the tone. Here it includes a suspicious character dressed like a postman and staff who get into character, too.
Cahoots Network’s venue will bring to life an old-school post office. Look out for the Insta-worthy features, which include a cocktail delivery system that sees drinks whizzing through air-powered tubes.
The venue boasts an intriguing design with curved archways, split-level floors, nooks, and crannies for exploring. On the mezzanine floor, there will be the Dead Letter Depot, which will include stacks of undelivered mail. The Tea Corner includes repurposed telephone switchboards, and you can eavesdrop on gossip.
