The East London venue is a hipster’s haven.
Next Door Records Two oozes cool. Located in East London, the new venue is a hipster’s haven and includes vinyl records, wine by the pint and live events. So, if you’re after a night out with a difference, here’s what you need to know.
Next Door Records first opened in Shepherd’s Bush and already has a firm following. The Stoke Newington venue has upgraded its name to Next Door Records Two – also known as NDR2 - as it marks the second opening of the brand. The concept brings together coffee, drinks and a whole lot of records.
The new venue includes DJ booths, turntables and CDJs. Visitors can expect to find old and new records across house, garage, jazz, reggae, techno and more. The staff are well versed in all things music, and happy to help you find your sound. The current collection includes Gogo Penguin, Queen Latifah and The Roches, and there is an extensive collection available online.
Next Door Records Two boasts a bar, which serves cocktails and natural wines. Guests can try wines on tap, which are served in old milk bottles. The venue features a cool, contemporary vibe with wooden chairs and tables. Plus, there are indoor and outdoor seats and a floor-to-ceiling window that opens up in the summertime.
The shop sells totes, T-shirts and sunglasses. The items are playful, from a David Bowie Shopping List T-shirt to a Flea Bag Tote.
