From Sunday roasts to your Sunday best, here's how to make the most of the day of rest.

Whether you're easy like Sunday morning or want a Sunday kind of love, there are plenty of ways to make the most of the last day of the week. London is packed with traditions, which bring the city to life. So before you get into Monday mode, here are the best things to do in London on a Sunday.

Afternoon tea

When one thinks about England, they think about tea. And where's a better place to get the full luxurious experience than at The Ritz London. The Parisian interiors just makes the visit even more magical. For families, they also have children's afternoon tea specials, especially portioned for children. The Ritz London is also the only hotel in the UK to have a certified Tea Master, Giandomenico Scanu, he travels around the world to visit tea plantations for sourcing tea selections at the Ritz.

Churches and cathedrals

It may be a tourist attraction, but it is so much more than that. St. Paul's Cathedral near Bank Station is one of London's most iconic and historic cathedrals. Not only is it a place of worship, but it is also a place to pay tribute to British history. There are plenty of sculptures and crypts, which include the graves of Christopher Wren and Horatio Nelson. The best part of it is climbing the 528 steps to the Golden Gallery for an amazing view from the top of the dome, of London from above.
