The iconic shop, Liberty London, is famous for its history, which dates back to 1875. Now, it is mixing things up with a cool, contemporary collaboration. adidas X Liberty London has just dropped, and includes a floral-inspired collection.
adidas X Liberty London includes shoes, clothing and accessories. Liberty London prides itself on its prints, and many of them include floral designs. So, the collaboration is fitting as it works with the heritage of the iconic brand.
Pere Bruach, Liberty’s Design Manager for Licensing, explained: “The collection draws inspiration from carefully curated, quintessentially Liberty designs, and is a vibrant celebration of print and colour. We worked with modern hues to breathe new life into iconic patterns creating a saturated pop aesthetic that we feel is both contemporary and timeless”.
At the heart of the collection is the Gazelle Bold x Liberty London, which comes in a brightly coloured floral design. The shoe is available for women, kids and babies. The collection's Bowling Bag comes in a floral print and features include a detachable strap, and the adidas Trefoil is on the front of the product.
The collection also includes the Mesh Maxi Dress. The figure-hugging dress is made from soft, stretchy mesh fabric. The features include full-length sleeves, a long length and a high mock neck. The adidas Originals x Liberty London Cali Tee is a slim-fitting T-shirt in a soft, stretchy fabric. The piece includes the floral print all over, and the iconic three stripes from adidas. The adidas Originals x Liberty London Floral Track Top includes a ribbed stand-up collar and cuffs. The signature three stripes from adidas run down the sleeves.
