Pat McGrath is behind La Beauté Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton is famous for fashion. Now, the brand is mixing it up, and has announced that it will launch a make-up brand. Dropping in autumn, the company has worked with the British make-up artist, Pat McGrath, and will introduce La Beauté Louis Vuitton.

Pat has been appointed the Creative Director of Cosmetics at Louis Vuitton. Over the last four years, she has been working on product development for La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The line will include 55 lipsticks, 10 tines lip balms and eight eyeshadow palettes. Plus, it will include its own selection of leather goods, from lipstick cases to mini trunks.

She explained: “I have been creating make-up looks for Louis Vuitton for many years. People have been asking me: When is make-up coming for Louis Vuitton?’ Now I can finally say it’s happening. The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.”

Pat is a legend in the beauty business. Born in Northampton, England, she moved to London and began working with designers ranging from Alexander McQueen to John Galliano. She has also worked for Louis Vuitton, and collaborated on its runway shows.

In 2015, Pat launched her own line of beauty products, Pat McGrath Labs. Over her career, she has been included in Time’s 100 most influential people, and was the first make-up artist to be awarded a Dame Commander of the British Empire.
