The menu spans salads, soups and shish kebabs.

Alaz is bringing Egyptian food to Chiswick. Located on Chiswick High Road, the concept has been created by Egyptian TV network owner Alaa El Kahky and caterer Sabrina Tolba. So, if you’re after a taste of authentic Arabic cuisine, here’s what you need to know.

Alaz pays homage to Alaa and Sabrina’s family cuisine, and describes itself as bringing the soul of Egypt to London. Sabrina hails from a family of restaurateurs, and brings the tradition of cooking to the new venue.

Alaz’s bright pink exterior makes it easy to spot. Indoors, it boasts shades of blue and brown, from blue walls and plates to wooden furniture. Look out for Arabic touches in the paintings and tiles.
