The flights will run on the Airbus A320 with 110 seats.
The national airline of Saudi Arabia, Saudia, has launched flights between London and NEOM. The weekly flights run between London Gatwick and NEOM Bay Airport. The flights will be operated on the Airbus A320 with 110 seats. The schedule lists the first flight on Sunday, 30 March, but the earliest flight available for reservations is Sunday, 6 April.
The previous route from London to NEOM Bay Airport departed from London Heathrow. The new route marks NEOM’s ambition and aims to put itself on the map for international tourists as well as workers.
Saudi Arabia’s NEOM is racing toward the future. At its core lies The Line, which is shaping up to become the centre of the futuristic megaproject. The development is expected to look like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. The area will create a stacked ecosystem where homes, schools, offices, and green spaces are all within easy reach.
NEOM is also welcoming a range of restaurants. Seven distinct dining experiences, under the Joël Robuchon banner and a collaboration with 7 Management, are making their way to Sindalah Island. The concepts include La Bakery, Les Bubbles La Creme Des Desserts, La Cocoa, La Mer and Le Sunset.
Salt Bae, real name Nusret Gökçe, recently revealed that he has his sights set up NEOM. The Turkish chef (and social media sensation), who is behind Nusr-Et Steakhouse, would like to serve his signature steaks that come wrapped in gold at the sight. Plus, the contemporary Mexican restaurant Rumbaza and Enrico Bartolini at Sindalah Yacht Club aim to spice things up on Sindalah Island.
