The concert takes place at Westminster Hall in September.
The sound of Saudi Arabia is making its way to the United Kingdom. Marvels of Saudi Orchestra will take place in Westminster Hall, London, on 28 September. The event brings together Saudi National Orchestra and Choir and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Marvels of Saudi Orchestra has already taken place around the world including Theatre du Chatelet in Paris; Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City; and Metropolitan Opera Theater at Lincoln Center in New York. The event celebrates the diverse musical heritage of Saudi Arabia, and will now combine it with the cultural scene in the United Kingdom.

The Saudi National Orchestra and Choir will perform alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in an evening of intercultural collaboration. The orchestras will perform traditional Saudi songs and British classical compositions, which showcase the musical heritage and cultural diversity of the countries.
Marvels of Saudi Orchestra will also include solo and group performances and a musical medley finale. The Saudi Music Commission, one of the sector-specific cultural commissions under the Saudi Ministry of Culture, is behind the event. The tour and collaborations aim to build bridges between cultures and showcase the power of music to connect people.
CEO of the Music Commission, Paul Pacifico, explained: “The Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concert series exemplifies our commitment to cultural exchange on the world stage. Music is unique in its ability to communicate across languages and borders and to help foster mutual understanding and appreciation. I very much look forward to our collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and to the chance to introduce music from Saudi Arabia to a UK audience.”
Tickets for Marvels of Saudi Orchestra are available now.
