The exhibition is currently taking place at the P21 Gallery in London.

Art has always been a powerful medium for expressing emotions. And with the conflict that have been taking place in Palestine, many have turned to art to convey their perspectives. London’s P21 Gallery — located in Somers Town — is currently hosting an exhibition called Don’t Stop Drawing - Visual Diaries of Solidarity with Gaza, and it has now been extended until 2 April.

Showcasing the works of two Lebanese artists, Mazen Kerbaj and Jana Traboulsi, Don’t Stop Drawing - Visual Diaries of Solidarity with Gaza serves as a call for justice for Palestine. Mazen and Jana took their drawing boards to Instagram. Despite living in different cities, their art shows a silent dialogue between two individuals who have witnessed the ravages of war in Lebanon and refuse to remain silent in the face of injustice.

The work depicts the atrocities faced by Palestinians, serving as a visual outcry against oppression and violence. Through their drawings, it demands equality, peace, and justice for Palestine.

Don’t Stop Drawing - Visual Diaries of Solidarity with Gaza is part of the Lebanon Week conference at the Institute of Global Prosperity, which aims to explore themes of justice, decolonisation, and solidarity. The exhibition extends beyond the artists' works, inviting Citizen Scientists from Ramallah, Beirut, and London to respond to the art. This collaborative effort adds layers of insight and perspective, enriching the dialogue surrounding the ongoing crisis.

As for the artists, Mazen is known for his work in comics, visual art, and music. His art has been showcased in galleries and museums, across the world, and is also recognised as a significant figure in Lebanon's free improvisation and experimental music scene.

Jana is a visual artist, designer, and academic as well. She teaches design and illustration at the American University of Beirut, along with theory and history. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Dubai and at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
