Taking place on 30 August, the event was co-founded by the American singer.
American singer Billie Eilish is coming to London. While she is known for her sell-out stage shows, this time she is joining OVERHEATED. The singer co-founded the climate change event, and it takes place at Flippers Roller Boogie Palace on 30 August.
The first OVERHEATED event took place in The O2 Arena and ran for six days. This year, it takes place for one day and brings together panel talks, plant-based food and even rollerskating sessions. The event is hosted by Abbie McCarthy, and speakers include Alice Aedy, Brother Spirit, Dominque Palmer, Liv Simpliciano, Maggie Baird (aka Billie’s mother), Samata Pattinson and Tori Tsui.
Billie Eilish hails from Los Angeles, United States. She started working on music with her brother Finneas from a young age. She started playing the ukulele at the age of six, and wrote her first song at the age of 11. In 2015, she released her first song Ocean Eyes. In 2016, she was signed to Apple.
Today, Billie has topped the charts and won multiple awards. She won seven Grammy Awards, three BRIT Awards and an Academy Award. Her hit songs include Bad Guy, Happier Than Ever and No Time to Die, which was the theme song for the James Bond film of the same name.
If you miss out on seeing Billie at OVERHEATED, you can catch her at music festivals in the UK. She will be performing at Leeds Festival and Reading Festival.
Tickets for OVERHEATED are on sale on 16 August, and only 500 tickets will be available to the public. If you don’t manage to nab a ticket, the event will be live-streamed on Billie’s YouTube channel.
