Get ready for some K-Pop icons. South Korean superstars BLACKPINK have announced that they are coming to London. The girl group will play Wembley Stadium on 15 August. The show is part of the European leg of their world tour, and here’s how to get hold of tickets.
BLACKPINK have performed around the world, from Singapore to Saudi Arabia. Now, their world tour will be coming to Europe and visiting countries including France, Italy and Spain. Plus, this marks the return of all the members together, following their solo projects.
BLACKPINK launched in 2016 with the members Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rose, and the fabulous foursome they have gone on to break musical records. During their career, they were the first group and Korean female act to have five music videos amassing one billion views each on YouTube, and are the most-followed female group on Spotify. The hugely popular group also have more than 52 million followers on Instagram, and are famous for their music as well as fashion.
BLACKPINK have made history throughout their career. They are the most followed girl group on Spotify. They reached number one in the UK Album Charts with the album, BORN PINK. King Charles III awarded them with an honorary MBE, due to their climate change advocacy. Plus, they were the first Asian act to headline the American music festival, Coachella.
Tickets to see BLACKPINK in London are available from 27 February at 11am.
