The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will join the singing superstar onstage.
London, it’s time to come out. The legendary American singer Diana Ross has announced A Symphonic Celebration with a full live orchestra. The show tours across the United Kingdom, and culminates at The O2 on Wednesday, 2 July 2025.
Diana Ross: A Symphonic Celebration takes place with the Halle Orchestra across the country, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. Dates include BP Pulse Live, Birmingham, on 22 June; Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham, on 23 June; OVO Hydro, Glasgow, on 25 June; CO-OP Live, Manchester, on 26 June; First Direct, Leeds, on 28 June; and M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool, on 30 June.
Diana hails from Detroit, United States. In the 1960s, she rose to fame with Motown Records and the girl group, The Supremes. Their hit songs include Stop! In The Name of Love and You Can’t Hurry Love. In 1970, she released her solo debut album, Diana Ross, and went on to forge a successful solo career. Her hit singles include Chain Reaction, Do You Know Where You’re Going To, I’m Coming Out, Endless Love and Upside Down.
Over her career, she has also starred in films including Mahogany and The Wiz. In 1972, she starred in Lady Sings the Blues, where she portrayed the singer, Billie Holiday. She won a Golden Globe and was the first African American woman nominated for an Academy Award. Plus, she has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
