The concert is coming to London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Stages rarely get bigger than the Super Bowl LIX halftime show in the United States. After the American rapper Kendrick Lamar took to the stage, he announced dates for his Grand National Tour. He is touring with the singer SZA, and dropped dates across Europe, from London to Glasgow.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA will bring the Grand National Tour to Hampden Park, Glasgow on 8 July; Villa Park, Birmingham on 10 July; Cardiff Principality Stadium on 19 July; Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London on 22 July. European dates have also been added across France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden.
Kendrick hails from Compton, California. His hit singles include All The Stars, Humble, Like That and Squabble Up. In 2024, his song Not Like Us became one of the most decorated songs in Grammy history and won five awards including Song of the Year.
Over his career, Kendrick has won 22 Grammy Awards, and has sold more than 70 million records. He has even received a nod from former President Barack Obama, as the rapper’s song Die Hard featured on Barack’s Summer Playlist.
Kendrick recently performed at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event took place at Caesars Superdrome, and included tennis superstar Serena Williams dancing, a protestor waving a Palestinian and Sudanese flag, and the words Gaza and Sudan written on the flags. The set list included Bodies, Squabble Up, Humble, DNA, Euphoria, Man at the Garden, Peekaboo, Luther, All The Stars, Not Like Us and TV Off.
Joining Kendrick on stage at the Super Bowl and co-headlining the tour, SZA, whose full name is Solana Imani Rowe, rose to prominence with the release of her debut studio album "Ctrl" in 2017. She has openly spoken about how she was raised as a Muslim and follows the religion. Her moniker contains references to the religion: S stands for saviour, Z stands for zig zag, and A stands for Allah. Her most popular hits include "Love Galore" featuring Travis Scott, "The Weekend", "Broken Clocks", "Good Days", and "Kill Bill".
Live Nation Presale tickets for The Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar and SZA will be available from 8:45am on Thursday, 13 February, while the General Sale begins on Friday, 14 February, at 8:45am.
