Alfie's is located in The Alfred Tennyson pub.
The Alfred Tennyson in Belgravia is home to a popular pub. Now, it is set to welcome a new experience, Alfie’s, which opens on 14 April. Located in the upstairs dining room, and within walking distance of Harrods, at the heart of the menu is British food.
The Alfred Tennyson sits in an old Georgian townhouse. The venue draws its name from the Poet Laureate, Alfred, Lord Tennyson. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest poets in the English language, and is behind The Charge of the Light Brigade.

Alfie’s in Belgravia is being led by founders Sam and Georgie Pearman, and Chef Director, Ben Tish. Alfie’s is a nickname to the more formal Alfred. Guests can go up the winding staircase and enjoy a more serene spot. The room boasts British fabrics, papers and antiques, which complement the British menu. Plus, there are candles sitting atop white tablecloths.
At Alfie’s in Belgravia, Chef Director, Ben and Alfie’s Head Chef Stevie Phillip have created a menu with British and French influences. Starters include Cornish Crab, Hereford Beef Tartare, Oysters, and Paté En Croute. Mains include Grilled Monkfish with Bouillabaisse, Roasted Brill with Cornish Mussels and Smoked Mackerel Sauce, Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder. Desserts include Baked Alaska, Pistachio Soufflé, and Pump Street Chocolate and Olive Oil Mousse.
Sam and Georgie explained: “We are over the moon to introduce everyone to Alfie’s – an elevated dining experience with a focus on quality and seasonality. The dining room will be a calm sanctuary from the hustle and bustle downstairs, and the perfect setting to share that with our guests, whether it’s for a celebration or an everyday escape”.
