Da Terra has been named the best restaurant in London

The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards 2023 celebrated venues in the UK.

We know that London is a popular place to visit in the summer. So, when you’re making your travel plans, make sure to visit Da Terra. The restaurant was the highest placed London eatery at The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards 2023.

The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards 2023 honour the best restaurants in the UK. This year’s event took place in the Hurlingham Club in Fulham on 12 June. Ynyshir in Wales took the number one spot, and Moor Hall in Lancashire came second. Plus, The Ledbury in London’s Notting Hill took fourth place, and Bouchon Racine in London’s Farringdon took fifth place.

The awards included 100 restaurants, and 66 of the venues were in the capital. The London restaurants included A Wong, Brat, Core by Clare Smyth, Ikoyi, Kiln, KOL and The Ledbury.

Located in East London’s Bethnal Green, Da Terra is a fine-dining European restaurant. The MICHELIN Starred restaurant’s menu includes Carabineros, Cannelloni, Hereford Short Rib and Moqueca. Plus, the desserts include Balsamic Ice Cream, Liqueur Candy and Tonka Bean Fudge.

The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards launched in 2007. The selection celebrates the UK’s dining scene, from the chefs to the front of house staff. The list is compiled by chefs, restaurateurs and food critics. The awards take place each year in the summer, and the ceremony includes top chefs and restaurateurs from across the country.
