The stylish shop sells Middle Eastern treats, from date puddings to zaatar croissants.
Dubai’s FLTR Coffee has landed in London. The stylish speciality coffee shop is located on Chiltern Street, Marylebone. So, if you want to warm yourself up this winter, here’s what you need to know about the brand’s hipster hotspot.
FLTR Coffee is easy to spot, thanks to the green branding. The space includes indoor and outdoor seats, and the outdoor tables and chairs come in green. The large windows give you a look into the space, which feels like a cross between a bookshop and a coffee shop. The shelves are stacked with indie magazines and books and FLTR-branded items in neutral colours, including canvas bags, hats and T-shirts.
FLTR Coffee’s drinks include filter coffee from Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras and Panama. The cold coffee drinks include Cold Drip, Iced FLTR, Iced Spanish and Iced White. The matchas include Iced Matcha, Hot Matcha and Matcha Affogato.
The desserts include Brownies, Cheesecake, Coconut Cake, Peanut Butter Tart, Raspberry Tart, Sea Salted Nutella and White Chocolate Matcha. The freshly baked pastries include a Babka, Chocolate Danish, Pistachio Croissant, Spinach Cheese and Zaatar Croissant. Plus, on the weekends, the Date Pudding is available and is a nod to the brand’s Dubai origins.
FLTR Coffee’s has some fashionable neighbours. The coffee shop is on the same street as AOK Kitchen, Chiltern Firehouse and The Monocle Café. Plus, the fashion label Sunspel, jewellery store Kimai, and shoe shops Bottega Velasca, Crispins Shoes, Magnus Shoes and Sabah.
