The one-off event raises money for Palestine.
London, a taste of Dubai is coming to the capital. London’s Berenjak is teaming up with Dubai’s Rascal’s Deli to create a special collaboration. The event takes place on 9 June, and all of the proceeds will be donated to Palestine via Amos Trust.
Rascals Deli shared a post on Instagram, which shared the news. The caption stated: “Berenjak London Kabab Sandwich Club landing in London soon! Stay tuned for our announcement”. Plus, there was an image of one of their sandwiches loaded with fillings and covered in sauce.
Each Berenjak x Rascals lunch box includes your choice of a Koobideh or Jujeh Tond sub, a soft drink drink and side. The event will be held on Sunday, 9 June. With limited quantities available, customers can reserve their sandwiches online via https://shopberenjak.com and select a pick up slot from either 2pm to 3pm or 4pm to 5pm.
Berenjak is located on Romilly Street, Soho, and this is where diners can check out the collaboration. In 2018, the brand first opened in Soho, and it later expanded to Borough. In 2023, it expanded to the UAE and opened in Dubai’s Dar Wasl Mall, and it later expanded to Sharjah.
The concept draws inspiration from hole-in-the-wall eateries in Tehran, Iran. Berenjak prides itself on its traditional take on Persian cuisine. Rascal’s Deli hails from Wasl Square, Dubai. The concept offers freshly made sandwiches, speciality coffee and homemade treats. The popular sandwiches include the Breakfast Sando and TLT with turkey, tomato and lettuce.
