This swanky new outlet will be located in Mayfair.
Londoners, brace yourself for some seriously exciting news. Em Sherif, the famous Lebanese restaurant, is opening a second branch in the capital. After opening their first restaurant in 2021 at the luxury department store Harrods, they're now taking it up a notch and setting up shop in the buzzing neighbourhood of Mayfair. They've snagged an epic location right on the corner of Albemarle Street and Stafford Street.
Those who have been to Em Sherif at Harrods - or elsewhere in the world - can vouch for the flavour fiesta it offers. The fine-dining concept by restaurateur Mireille Hayek is like a magic carpet ride through Lebanese cuisine with an impressive modern twist. They've got traditional Lebanese classics sprinkled with attention-grabbing surprises that will make your palate scream with delight.
The restaurant is expected to feature hand-selected and intricately embroidered chair designs – representing the Hayek family's culture and history – and beautiful bespoke tiles with stylish silhouettes of botanical accents and delicate gold leaves. Designed to represent Lebanese architectural heritage, Em Sherif promises an elevated dining experience to guests.
Em Sherif Mayfair is expected to open for lunch and dinner, offering both a curated set menu and an à la carte menu. Based on Em Sherif's global locations that span Dubai, Doha and Riyadh, we expect the menu to include Wagyu Hummus, the signature Fattoush Salad with pomegranate molasses, Lebanese Tabbouleh in three variations, Mloukhiye bel Zeit featuring jute leaves in fragrant olive oil, the flavoursome Kishk and the beloved Em Ali (a vanilla-infused milk, nuts and puff pastry).
While details of when the swanky Em Sherif Mayfair will be open for business are still under wraps, fret not because we'll be your foodie detectives and keep you in the loop on all the updates.
