Brands have long been making their way between the UAE and the UK. Now, BonBird will open 50 new chicken shops across the United Kingdom. The expansion will take place over the next five years, and marks the European debut of the brand.
Yolk Brands and City Restaurants Group Ink have signed the franchise agreement. In 2023, British Steve Flawith, Founder and CEO of Yolk Brands, launched BonBird. Drawing inspiration from East London-style chicken shops, it showcases premium, hormone-free, antibiotic-free and preservative-free fried chicken.

BonBird offers a variety of bone-in and boneless options, including fresh fried chicken tenders, chicken burgers, melts and wraps, which are all made to order. There are five spice levels, which span Chicken Salt and XXX Hot.
