The concept showcases viral desserts and drinks.
Something spectacular is brewing in London. Chai & Chapati has announced that it is opening a restaurant in Knightsbridge. The concept can already be found in Luton and Kingsbury, and now it will be opening in the heart of the city.
Chai & Chapati is no stranger to Knightsbridge. The team recently opened a playful pink cart on Brompton Street, which was outside of Harrods. Serving bites and beverages, the Pistachio Kanafeh Strawberries were a hit with locals as well as tourists.
Chai & Chapati prides itself on its Asian meets Middle Eastern dishes. While we don’t yet have the full menu for the Knightsbridge restaurant, the existing venues serve breakfast, brunch and dinner. On the menu, international guests will spot Dubai-inspired dishes, from the Matilda Cake (which was previously created by Parker’s in the UAE) to Pistachio Kanafeh Strawberries (which have proved popular on Instagram).
True to its name, Chai & Chapati’s existing menu boasts chapati rolls. The rolls combine the texture of a paratha and roti, and come with a range of fillings. The options include Chicken Tikka, Keema Muttur and Pulled Lamb.
Chai & Chapati has a firm following, thanks to its desserts. Chapatis range from a Cinnamon Chapati to Chocoberry Chapati. Desserts also include donuts, gelato, pancakes and sundaes. Plus, an afternoon tea with Chicken Sliders, Lotus Cheesecake and, of course, Scones with Jam.
At the heart of the experience is Karak Chai, which blends together sweet and spicy flavours. Drinks include Karak Chai with cinnamon, saffron and sugar free. Plus, a Chai Latte, Moroccan Mint Tea, and hot chocolates ranging from an Oreo Hot Chocolate to Ferrero Hot Chocolate.
The opening date for Chai & Chapati in Knightsbridge has not yet been confirmed.
