Put your hands together for CLAP KA-FE. On 31 March, the new café will open in Knightsbridge, London. The concept has been created by the team behind CLAP, and looks set to be an all-day café showcasing Japanese-inspired food.
Located on Basil Street, CLAP KA-FE is right next door to CLAP, offering plenty of foodie fun inside a revamped tube station. The café is located in a tall terracotta building, and the entrance boasts floor-to-ceiling windows. The design draws inspiration from nature, and aims to offer a moment of calm in the hustle and bustle of the city.

At CLAP KA-FE, the menu will span food and drink, which you can eat on-site or take away. The drinks range from crafted coffee to matcha. The takeaway drinks will be served in sleek black cups with golden accents featuring the brand’s logo.
CLAP KA-FE’s food offering includes sandos, salads, sushi and pastries. The handcrafted sushi has been prepared each day. Plus, there will be a range of freshly baked pastries, from Double Chocolate Pain Suisse to sweet treats.

Clap was born in Beirut and can be found across the world in Dubai and Riyadh. Clap’s restaurants are known for having iconic rooftop locations, and the London one is no different. From the venue, diners can see the rooftops of London. The restaurant offers an à la carte, brunch and omakase menu. The menu showcases top-quality Japanese cuisine and offers dishes ranging from sushi to sashimi.
