The social space will be designed by Foster + Partners.
History and high-end dining combine at Restoration Hardware. Located off of Savile Row, Mayfair, the new dining, exhibition and retail space will be situated in a 400-year-old London landmark. British architectural firm, Foster + Partners will design the new restaurants.
The opening date for Restoration Hardware in London has not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we do know: Restoration Hardware will be reimagined and open to the public, combining historic and contemporary features.
The project will span multiple rooms and offer a variety of food and drink experiences. The spaces include a restaurant, wine bar, and barista bar on the ground floor, a wine bar on the second floor with a roof terrace, and a Champagne and caviar bar in the basement.
Restoration Hardware looks set to be similar to RH New York, which is located in the Meatpacking District. If the venue is anything to go by, Londoners are in for a treat. The multipurpose space, which spans more than 90,000 square feet, includes installations and a rooftop restaurant with views of downtown Manhattan.
If you can’t wait for Restoration Hardware in London, RH England at Aynho Park has already opened. The original building was designed by the British architect Sir John Soane. Spanning more than 73 acres and 60 rooms, it includes dining and drinking experiences: Conservatory, Loggia and Orangery, and Juicery, Tea Salon and Wine Lounge. Plus, there are historic gardens, which were made by the English landscape architect, Capability Brown.
