The group’s European expansion continues in the United Kingdom.

Sunset Hospitality Group has made a name for itself in the Middle East with its award-winning restaurants. Now, it is expanding in London and bringing three culinary concepts to the capital: Amèlie, LUUM and Sachi. So, if you’re a foodie fan, here’s what you need to know.

Amèlie and LUUM are new concepts in Sunset Hospitality Group’s portfolio, while SACHI already exists in Milan. The opening dates are currently under wraps, but we do know that all three venues will co-exist inside the Pantechnicon building in Belgravia.

As you step inside the building, you'll discover Amélie, a Provençale restaurant spread across the ground floor and mezzanine, along with a covered outdoor terrace. The kitchen is helmed by head chef Steve Raveneau, previously of Mayfair's The Arts Club, who has crafted a menu with Mediterranean influences and a special caviar selection. There’s also a walk-in wine room featuring 2,000 bottles.

The Kappo-Japanese restaurant Sachi was previously located in the basement of the building. It will move to the second floor and also occupy the rooftop terrace. Here, you can enjoy executive chef Moon Kyung Soo's traditional Kappo Ryori menu, which offers multi-course meals using seasonal ingredients, or indulge in an omakase chef's table experience. The rooftop bar will have a strong focus on DJ sets and feature an expansive bar menu of Japanese whiskies, sakes, and cocktails inspired by Japanese proverbs.

Occupying Sachi's former basement location is LUUM, a Latin-American-influenced cocktail bar run by Stefano Chila, formerly of Chiltern Firehouse. LUUM will feature a special lab where the bar distils its own spirits using advanced evaporation equipment, and a cellar for ageing spirits. In addition to marvellous mixology, LUUM will showcase live acts performing throughout the week.

This is not the first time Sunset Hospitality Group has expanded to Europe. In the summer of 2023, the group opened four new restaurants in Milan, Italy. The restaurants included the existing concepts Isola Ristorante and Sachi, and new concepts Gioia Pasticceria and Giardino Cordusio.

Judging from Sunset Hospitality Group’s previous hospitality hits, London is in for a culinary treat. Founded in 2011, the group’s portfolio spans beach clubs, restaurants and nightlife venues. The group’s concepts in the UAE include Azure Beach, Ammos, AURA Skypool and Lounge, Drift Beach Club, L’Amo Bistro del MareSUSHISAMBA and more. In 2023, the company opened concepts across the world including METT Hotel & Beach Resort MarbellaMott32 Dubai, Signor Sassi Dubai and Santana Bali.
