Running for three months, it includes Guinness-inspired bites and beverages.
The Ned London is getting into the Irish spirit. On St Patrick’s Day, the five-star hotel is launching The Guinness Bar. Opening on 17 March and running for three months, it will be located on the lower ground floor in The Long Bar. It will be dedicated to the drink, and will celebrate all things Guinness.
At The Guinness Bar in The Ned London, the drink will be served in bespoke pint glasses, which include the logos of both brands. On the outside, it states Guinness and The Ned City of London. Plus, it includes The Ned’s logo, which is inspired by the building's historical bank vault.
The Guinness Bar in The Ned London will also offer other beverages and bites, which showcase Guinness. The cocktail menu will range from a Royal Velvet with Guinness and Nyetimber, to the Barkley Café with Ron Zacapa, Guinness, espresso and cacao. The food menu includes Caviar and Guinness Crisps, Guinness Bread with Coriander Hummus; Guinness Cheddar Croquettes, Garlic Mayonnaise and Parmesan; and Mini Beef and Onion Pie with Guinness Gravy.
St Patrick’s Day is a public holiday in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Also known as the Feast of St Patrick, it marks the death of the Irish patron saint. It traditionally commemorates St Patrick bringing Christianity to Ireland. In the 17th century, it became a Christian feast day, and in 1903, it became a public holiday.
The Guinness Bar in The Ned London will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to late.
