A 24-karat gold mask, anyone?
If you’re after some zen, head to The Peninsula London. The luxury hotel has opened The Peninsula London Spa & Wellness Centre. Located in Belgravia, with views over Hyde Park Corner and Wellington Arch, the hotel is home to a serene spa.
The Peninsula London Spa & Wellness Centre spans two floors of the hotel. The facilities include an indoor swimming pool, revitalising and relaxing treatments, and exclusive partnerships with the beauty brands Margy’s Monte Carlo and Subtle Energies.
The Peninsula Spa & Wellness Centre has been designed by the world-renowned architect and designer Peter Marino. At its heart is the 25-metre-long heated swimming pool, which occupies a double-height subterranean chamber. The walls are adorned with mosaic landscapes and the overhead light panels simulate natural daylight. Plus, music is played through underwater speakers.
The Peninsula Spa & Wellness Centre’s signature treatments include a 24-karat gold mask and e-finger facial, which uses Margy’s Swiss-made products, and Blissful Marma Massage by Subtle Energies, which aims to be chakra-balancing. Other treatments include acupuncture, osteopathy and traditional Chinese medicine. Plus, practitioners include Dr. Li Ping Bartlett, who utilises Chinese medicine to relieve issues.
Sonja Vodusek, The Peninsula London’s Managing Director, explained: “We are enormously pleased to offer such an array of ground-breaking wellness options to our guests, as well as the Belgravia community. Service is at the heart of everything we do at The Peninsula – and a key part of that commitment is allowing the members of our Peninsula family to experience optimal well-being.”
The Peninsula opened in September 2023. The hotel is home to 190 rooms and suites, which have also been designed by Peter Marino. Plus, the signature restaurant Brooklands is helmed by Chef Director Claude Bosi.
